“Amagi Shamo” from Horie Poultry, raised in the mountains of Amagi, Shizuoka. Raised free-range and allowed to mature slowly—taking about three times as long as broiler chickens—this chicken features firm, lean meat and a rich, savory flavor. Fed a natural diet, it is characterized by a clean, mild taste with no unpleasant odor.
The “Female Whole Chicken, Boned (approx. 2 kg),” slaughtered in the morning and shipped chilled to preserve freshness, is a pre-processed whole chicken that’s easy to handle. It offers an excellent balance of tenderness and umami, allowing you to enjoy the deep broth and flavor unique to bone-in chicken in a wide range of dishes, including roasts, stews, and soups.
