① Place the flat side up and insert a knife into the gap (the trick is to insert it somewhat vertically)

② Aim for the adductor muscle near the top right and twist to open it little by little.
③ Slide the knife horizontally to detach the upper adductor muscle.


④ Insert the knife along the shell to detach the lower adductor muscle as well.
